Yesterday my hubby had one of the most horrific days in his working years, as one of his Electricians was Electrocuted while maintenance was being done on a sub-station.
The Chief Electrical Engineer together with my hubby - Chief Engineering manager and other qualified team members for the task, will search the site and analyse the situation. They will interview the other five men that were caught in the Electric blast furnace and are being treated in hospital to find out if there was any split second wrong decision . . . or other? No presumptions have been made.
It was a sad day yesterday to have a young man of 32 loose his life in such a tragic way. One other is seriously being treated in the burn unit!
I know that I shouldn't feel this way, but it seems death is following me around - do you ever get that feeling?
This accident brought back so many heartbreak memories of the day my son was blasted by a Gold refinery pump - he also suffered 3rd degree burns and serious injuries to his face, hands and eyes and when i spoke to him yesterday, I could hear his pain all over again as he sets about investigating this incident - Ironically he is on the Investigation panel.
I share my pain with you today - thank you for reading.
My friend in Nepal as not been found yet and everyone is seriously anxious and the hope is thining . .
My bowling partner is going through the motions of Physiology and Psychology - the body and the soul.
My cat is perking - thank you for your concerns.

Try not to let the bad times get to you. There is always hope. Still praying.

@Inlemay ,
You seem like such an upbeat person. Very unusual to hear that you tipped the scales to the other way. A person can't give up on hope.Have yourself a good cry, then be strong. People need you.

Electrocution. That is scary. Things will change. Let it work its way through. I am so sad about your missing friend.

that is a lot of bad all at once, I'd be burning temple incense to encourage good stuff and push away the bad, strength to you!

@Inlemay if nothing else it smells amazing. Could go the route of sage, but that discourages everything good and bad, and I hate to go that way, I'd rather leave the good alone

Oh no. I can understand it bringing back memories of what happened to your son, I am glad he was able to recover, though it must have been terrible. Sorry about the young man losing his life, and electrocution of all things, it is horrific. I hope that things will soon smooth for you @Inlemay , and some good news will fill your life, I am not sure why we all go through certain things in life, I wish you strength at this time.

Terrible news Lany. It brought back memories of a university friend of mine who was electrocuted on a holiday job. It's all so sudden.

I don't blame you for feeling overwhelmed with the sad things. Don't give up hope, life has a way of turning around.
