Well, my woes don't end. It's been 4 months since I shifted to this new place after taking up a new job. I am in rented house here, but there are 3 more houses in the same compound. A big problem here is that of water. There is no scarcity but the overhead tank capacity is less and it's the only tank for the 3 houses!! To add to it, there is a valve on the first floor. The people of the first floor close the valve so that they get good amount of water and hence prevent water from reaching my home! On saturday, they had kept it closed for the whole day!! Even today they haven't opened it yet..I don't want to go and request because it may cause quarrels. I'm managing with the water I had stored in a tank in my home. Now I don't know what to do.. I'm planning to complain to the landlord who lives in the adjacent street.

Go to talk with the landlord as soon as you can, you must not accept what the other neighbours are doing.

You should definitely go and complaint to the landlord. Or they are going to take you for granted and trouble you like this and take advantage of this. You should not ley them do this tp you.
