Today was certainly a Manic Monday here at Lovejoy Junction. I was up at 6 and getting Lil Keith ready for school. I took him to the bus stop and waited with him for the bus. After he was off to school I went to run errands in town. First stop was the grocery store, then on to the post office, Dollar General and then off to the Job Links to drop off some paperwork that I needed to get turned in. After getting home and getting the groceries in and putting them away I started work. Unfortunately, I did not work long because hubby needed my help. After helping him the twins woke up and it was touch and go the rest of the day. I would come and work as much as I could. After lunch I started cleaning up the kitchen and getting things prepped for supper. It was very good tonight. We had grilled burgers, macaroni salad and a big garden salad. I made peach pie for dessert. Lil Keith got home and him and the boys played outside for a while until supper was ready. After eating it was bathes and homework time. Things are kind of winding down now. The twins are playing and Lil Keith is working on his sight words for his test this week. He missed two sight words last week so we are trying to get him on the right track. As you can see I am typing this so hubby is working with him. I probably would have got more work online done today if hubby had been in school. Since today was a federal holiday (Columbus Day) the local college was closed. I am hoping that tomorrow is going to be so much better. I am going to work now for as long as I can and probably late into the evening. How was your Monday?

Mine was pretty good, I went to Las Cruces to get a few organic items I can't get here and turned in my glass jars for recycle at Target. I wasn't quite as busy as you were but it was enough so that I was glad when I finally got home. It was a good day all in all.

@rebelann driving and shopping can take the wind right out of ya. I know this because it does to me. I don't go to Walmart or Save-A-Lot every week. Normally I shop them once a month and when I do I hit both of them on the same day and get enough at both places to last a month. When I go on these shopping trips it wears me out and then when I get home I have to get everything put away. Sometimes I just put away anything that needs to be refrigerated or frozen and leave the rest for the next day.

If I can I shop walmart.com for non perishable items and have them shipped to me @Shellyann36 I like those extra points I get from SB when I use their shop feature, then I only have the dairy and frozen foods to actually shop for.

@rebelann Yes I enjoy shopping at Walmart via Swagbucks too. Most of the time I get them sent to my area Walmart and pick them up because of the shipping costs.

It is often hard in a busy life to have time to do online work. I know you have a lot on your plate right now.

My Monday has been really lazy compared with yours. I just got meals, went out for a walk, then the rest of the time on the computer.

Sounds like a productive Monday for you. Mine was good, managed to do a lot of chores and then spent most of the time working on the computer. I was hoping it would rain 'cause we needed it but it didn't. But it was a good Monday overall.

Don't forget to take time to smell the flowers. There will always be chores to do but before you know it your husband will be old and your children will be in collage, make memories now.
