I tried very hard to use the Google tool to search for a strange but true statistic about weirdness in South African like @ison1 has revealed us i.e. UK Cell phones, BUT alas I cannot find anything. So where do i go to find these random strange stats on the oddest things that happen in my country?? The only thing I thought interesting was: South Africa is now the only country in the world to have hosted the Soccer, Cricket and Rugby World Cup! I didnt even know that either! However here is some interesting fact: The most luxurious train on earth, to date, is found in South Africa. It’s name? The Rovos Rail. - the family are well known to my city. Now thats interesting

Very interesting Lany, I like to read facts about other countries. About Switzerland: there are 208 mountains over 3,000 meters high with 24 of them over 4,000 meter.

@Inlemay I have had a look it looks lovely just like the Venice simplon Orient express, The Maharajahs train India and the Eastern Orient express from Bangkok to Singapore! All similarly priced! No forgetting the Great Australian trains too but cheaper!

If that train would stop here, I would take a ride, but I don't think I will ever get a ride on it or any other luxury train.

I'm surprised that you have the most luxurious train in your country - I thought that the Orient Express held that title, but what do I know .Obviously not a lot!

Great for Rovos Rails. I only know about the Blue Train, and I think its route was Cape Town, but I have heard nothing about it in a long time.
