On my Computer Desktop Screen

Next weekend I'm spending a few days looking after a dog, a large dog, a boxer. In recent years I've looked after my sister's small dog, but this one belongs to my niece and I've only met it once. In order to make the transition from small dog to large dog I found some photos of boxer dogs on Pinterest, quite funny ones actually. I currently have one that really emphasises the dog's size on my computer screen. I've fallen in love with this one already, but I think I'll change it to a new one each day until I go. I don't mind large dogs at all, we once had a golden Labrador. I'm sure this darling dog I'm about to become better acquainted with will be a bundle of energy and I'm about to have lots of fun. At least, thanks to Pinterest and my computer I'll be more familiar with boxers by the time I get there. Next weekend I'll be able to show you some photos.

You should have taken a screenshot and posted in along with this discussion. My desktop wallpaper is an imaginary village entitled Linux Village, which was actually created for use with Linux computers and not Windows.

@valmnz It is very simple, but varies according to which operating system you are using. I assume that you are running Microsoft Windows, in which case is it Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10?

The only dog that ever bit my sister was a boxer. at that time we had a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and he went thru the screened window and the screened porch after that Boxer. I don't know what that Boxer's problem.

Oh dear. Apparently this girl is affectionate, attention craving and a bit of a slurper

Not bad that you know you will have fun with a dog that you are not acquainted with. Must be a friendly dog as I would not be comfortable with other people's dogs.

This one apparently does jump if you let it, but will stop when you tell it to.

All the dogs I have had to this point are large dogs, but I am thinking the next one will be small

I actually prefer larger dogs myself, but most dogs are nice. Even though I'm a cat person.

@valmnz I have always liked large dogs and so did my boys but they can be a lot to handle.

Have fun. I have a large dog and a small dog and both of them are full of energy and a lot of fun.

I hope that this boxer is a quiet dog. One of our friends had one and he had the bad habit to try to bite people when they did not looked at him.

Beware. Boxers have a reputation for passing copious amounts of wind.

Ha, ha, our dear old lab was a bit like that. Then she's cover her nose with her paw as if to say whew, was that really me.
