This morning I started to cut down on my milk or cream in my coffee. I am trying to get used to drink black coffee. It won't be easy, but I know I can do it gradually. How do you drink your coffee? Lots of cream and sugar or simply black.

I use french vanilla creamer and sugar in mine. Alot of times I'll do the flavor coffees i buy for my keurig. But I mostly just drink cappuccino and not coffee.

I feel your pain. I used to drink my coffee with milk and sugar. Last year I stopped using sugar, it took months for me to get used to it. I don't think I could give up milk too.

Since the first cup of coffee I drank when I started my first real job back in 1968 I drank it black, always do, always will.My father drank his black maybe that's why I started that way. One drop of cream and I'd toss the coffee out.

With sugar and milk. Without these I find the taste vile.

@marlina It might take a little getting used to but it certainly isn't 'vile'.

I will never get use to drinking coffee period. I tried it many times and drowned it in cream and sugar and no matter what I did I didn't like it. I guess I'm suck on tea and that's what I'll drink.

I must say that the first time I had coffee that I didn't like the taste either. But that was decades ago.

I am proud to say that I now drink my coffee black. I gave up milk first, and decreased my sweetener daily. Took me less than one week. You can do it!

I usually have milk and one sugar. Black coffee does not appeal to me in the slightest. During a recent trip to Turkey I ended up with black coffee on several occasions, but never from choice.

I still prefer my coffee to go with hot milk so it is Latte for me anytime.

@marlina I can understand your decision which could be health motivated but I have a personal liking for latte because the baristas would always come up with some nice piece of coffee art.

This is an easy question for me. I don't drink coffee at all. I just don't like the taste, never have.

@ElizabethWallace I must say that the smell of coffee is better than the taste itself.

@marlina Very true. I love the smell, except when it is on someone's breath. But the flavor hits a sour note for me.
