of squash but I do like acorn squash and I found this new delicious way to eat it. Cranberries! Yum! Tart and sweet and take that gaginess that I don't care for. I put molasses, cranberries, a little dash of rosemary and ginger and there ya go.
Acorn squash is a smaller type given its name because it is shaped like an acorn. Squash is one of the more healthy vegetables. It is full of vitamin a, folate, thiamine, niacin, vitamin b-6 and vitamin c. It also has minerals such as magnesium and potassium. It also contains small amounts of phosphorus, calcium and iron. It is also a great way to get your fiber and is one of the best sources of the antioxidant beta carotene.

I actually have never tried any acorn squash recipes. I should probably start experimenting with some.

I like summer squash and I like the winter Butternut Squash. A butternut squash cut in half with the seeds taken out and then butter and syrup put into the holes and baked is delicious.
