I wrote a post to my bubbler friends that I was so sad to hear that bubblews
might be dying and that I hoped that they would honor my redemption of
fifty dollars before their demise.
I and a handful of my friends, many of them former mylotters.
are still there. Its hard to let go for me as it was a super place
to write your own world your way. Well now I realize I can pretty
much do that here too but I will not be using my graphics of course.
But I can interact like I did in Bubblews and that's what i really love
to do

hi Boiboing We made some real mo ney then I lost about 300 also 155 in Nov because they refused to pay anyone who redeemed before Nov 11 there went my birthday money theytook out their anger over spammers and scammers on allof us honest users and refused to pay us.

@cynthiann yes it was t il I forgot to declare that dovercharge ot my social securitytook me the last two years and a hearing with a federal judge to clear my name and get me back to Social security and ssi bu t am allowed to make 65 dollars a month and they will not alter my ss i so was thinking I would bo that on bubblews t but no it take 3 months to make fifty dollars. damn not very good.

In my last post there I wrote about my thoughts on the troubles they are having. One comment to the post said they would never shut down. I think that person may be in for a rude awakening. The way they are hemorrhaging members, paying so low, not communicating to the members and the inability (or unwillingness) to solve their problems spells disaster. It used to be a fun place but now it's just a dull ghost town.

I know hi@RichardMeister yes they talked big but their actions show they ar going to lose it if they do not explain and do some damage control like paying the bubblers what they owe them. my stats there now are terrible I looked a one of my posts in July and was shocked I had 20 comments not 2 or 4 as i get now. It was a fun place now its spooky and most of its all newbie posts.

It's a very sad situation. It must be a very hard time for Arvind. He may not care about the people that are missing money, but he must be embarrassed by the failure of the site.

yes Im sure he must be as it was a great idea reallyit was and we all fell for it too very sad and now they took the name sweeble from the owener of the real sweeble a woman who hasowned if for severalyears and she has asked the to rename their app site She said she hestitated to sue but she can lol

@boiboing I ran across an i nterstin article on the net by a woman who is the real owner of sweebles and she has asked @Arvind to change the name of their appication thingy to something lesre as she owns it. how do y ou like that? TGheysole the name and she had had thoughts of s uing @Arvind too so his hands are not clean. how can he use a name thats owned by someone else?

yes just speculations as the owners are too o nery to share what the heck is really going on and more and more old timers are leaving for other site most for mylot as we grew tired of very low miniscule earnings and numerous errors that had the site shut down for ages. If most of their users
leave it seems to me they will have to shut do wn.

Yes I think it started with all the errors and then we had a lot of days we co uld not get on at all and a lot pf bubblers began to not get paid for their redemptions too

Is it really going to shutdown? Maybe they can still resurrect, one thing first is to get the trust back from its users.

you could save the graphics as photos and use them on the side, or change out your avatar I guess

@Hatley yeah, I don't know much about resizing in paint. The few I did were fine, but I did small ones like a "?" and stuff, not a full image.

@garymarsh6 yes and i n 2013 theyowed me 250 that they promised rto pay but never did after many promises to pay
even in 2014 they said they would pay again they never did after numerous inquiries

I have $49.89 in my bank in bubblews but I doubt it will reach the threshold for seems no one stays there by now. Maybe they have suffered "Karma" already for not paying their members,
