MARILYN I can really relate to your mom wanting to save her mental health from that lady. I do treasure my friend for all these years but as she's gotten older and life hasn't turned out the way she wants it gets to be too much to listen to the same old broken record...

MARILYN I did call her back and I do treasure her as a friend. It takes a lot of energy to spend time on the phone with her though but I know I'd be wrong not to keep in touch and try to encourage her and/or at least listen to her.
