We used to keep the heat at 74F in the house before all the work was done this summer. I set the heat at 70F the last two weeks but have been getting too hot during the nights so I reset the heat to 67F in the house and we'll see...

MARILYN My grandson worked as an Amazon delivery person for awhile and he was happy. Guess you son will figure out what he wants to do but at least Amazon is paying well enough with benefits. These days benefits are a big plus.

MARILYN It's very dangerous here especially when you never know when a deer will run out in front of you. After seeing pictures of the car and the dead deer they are extremely lucky they weren't seriously hurt. I didn't sleep well either and watched the clock change...

MARILYN @porwest yes, Folgers has gotten expensive and I'm going to have to hunt for bargains or sales. I've heard you can freeze coffee but Ive never tried it. Would certainly be good if it worked and you could really take advantage of a sale

MARILYN @MarieCoyle I'm going to do the same thing and move it into smaller containers. I've heard you can freeze coffee but i've never tried it. With the rising prices any time we can save $$ it's a win win especially for us coffee lovers.

I found a 3 lb bag of apples at Aldi for 1.99. That was a good price and are full size apples, not like the small ones I usually buy for that. They had cheap avocados there too, although I didn't get one. Bread was 1.25. Anything...

MARILYN I did find a bargain this weekend on Thomas English Muffins. They were buy one get 2 free. One was $5.99 (which is crazy) but for 3 it's only $2 each. So, I bought 3 and put 2 in the freezer. Normally I get them in Walmart for $3.28 each.
