I got that message after I clicked on a discussion to respond to it. The only thing I can think of is that the discussion was deleted, and couldn't be accessed. This is the first time I have ever received that message. It puzzled me, becasue I never got a chance to respond, and poof, apparently, it got deleted by mylot. Since I never saw it, I don't know why but mylot must have had a reason for doing so. [

@cgalavia I am not really sure, as I have never had mine deleted. I know of some that have deleted their own acccounts and then came back with new accounts. There shouldn't be any reason to get your account deleted unless you do it yourself, as mylot won't do it unless there is a problem with them I suppoe. There might be others that might know the answer better than what I gave you though

That's one possibility.
I've occasionally received that message when a user has edited the title of the discussion. Because the title of the discussion is given in the link to the post from any of the main pages, if the title changes the link will also change.

That could be too, I suppose. I just will never know what it said to respond to it. Things happen and we have to deal with them.

Yep, I figured that is what happened. It could be any number of reasons why, and I won't question it, but this is the first time I ever got the message, and it was weird at first. At least if it happens again, I will definitely know why.

@LadyDuck Yea, that I can understand, and that is how it used to be in the old mylot. Now that we aren't paid for posting, I am just wondering if those that responded and commented if they lost their earnings on that discussion. If they did, it probably wasn't much, but still it all does add up.

Yep, I sure did, and it made it look like I had logged out, and needed to log back in. It was so weird too. I have never encountered that before. I know it wasn't any of mine. I just hope that those who responded to it don't lose any earnings. Everybody works so hard, but sometimes things happen, we least expect them to.

@jaboUK I hope not too, but I don't really know for sure. I will never know what the discussion saud, but then I probably wasn't meant to see it anyway. If that is the case, then maybe it is good it is gone, but I wouldn't want others to lose their earnijngs from it either

yep that is apparently what happened...Someone either deleted it or myLot did.
Oh well you weren't meant to post to it anyway...now you can go watch tv or call it a night..

That is what I am thinking too. Even though I have never encountered that message before, I figured that is what happene immediately when I got the message. I guess you were right, that I probably wasn't meant to read it.

Some discussions are dleted because they are not written according to mylot rules. Others are edited

Either one of them could have been a possiblility I suppose. It was just weird getting that message, as all the times I have been here, I have never received it. I thought at first that my computer was acting up, and I found out it wasn't my computer.

This si the first one I have ever received. I didn't know what to think at first, but then I fiured it had to have been deleted, or I would have never got the message. I wasn'tmeant to see it, Iguess.

Yes, anything could have happened. As Susan said, it could have just been a glitch, especially with so many new people joining MyLot, the system could be overwhelmed at times.

That is so very ture too. It is hard to say, but it was sure weird getting that message. At least if I get it again, I will know what had happened to cause that message. It is not a biggie I suppose. I probably wasn't meant to read it anyway.

oh, I never experience that yet here. Maybe the member deleted such post or MyLot deleted the post for violation. So sad to know that.

Yea, it is, and it does happen from time to time. Since I never saw it, I don't know why it was deleted, and I will never know, but that is okay, as I have plenty of other discussions to respond to.
