A technical glitch

I frequently get a box appear that says there is a script problem and asks if I want to continue. I click the box for yes and it usually allows me to continue after that. However, following advice to give my PayPal information so that I will be paid, the box comes up and refuses to go away. So I cannot proceed. In fact the whole screen freezes and the only escape is to turn off my computer and start again. This problem only occurs on the myLot site and my husband says I should leave it. Leave it? I've just started to enjoy it. Can anyone give me advice or tell me how to get in touch with the myLot technicians.

This is not a MyLot problem, it surely comes from your browser. Try to use another browser.

@41CombedaleRoad I am glad the problem is solved. It happened to several before, it was easy to spot it. Now you are all set and you can start making a little money here.

The script problem is nothing to do with MyLot. It is a problem with your browser and it depends on which browser you are using and what, exactly, the message is as to what you need to do to solve it.

@41CombedaleRoad Uh oh! Delayed blessings! When "MyLot" turns into "$MyLot$", I'll be round to collect I suspected that you might be using Firefox, because I get those messages from time to time. Chrome uses a different way of handling Flash scripts and there are different ways of dealing with that kind of message in different browsers. I'm glad that you got it sorted, anyway.

I get that pretty regularly on facebook, especially when using firefox. I think it has something to do with the way firefox handles flash scripts. I haven't had that issue with mylot though.

I had the same problem a couple of days ago. I kept on getting messages about script problems. Sometimes I was able to close the messages and sometimes I couldn't close them at all, and I had to turn off my computer. I decided to try a different browser, and when I use Chrome, it doesn't happen. I haven't had any problems since that time. Maybe a different browser will solve your problem as well.

When I posted my problem I had no idea that people would reply so quickly and enable me to sort the problem out. That's another plus for myLot
