Do any of you have kids in a school that collects box tops? Do you collect for your school, or for a family member or friends whose children are in school?
Our school collects box tops, but it seems that very few parents actually do any collecting (based on the small amount of earnings that the school has received historically.
My son has filled up 3 box tops sheets. The first one the school sent home. Then he filled one that I printed, and then he filled a second one I printed that was Halloween themed.
Not only does the school earn 10 cent for each box top sent to the school, but my son LOVES getting to cut out and glue down the box tops. And you can find all kinds of collection sheets online that the children can color that makes it even more special!

Good to know other people are collecting them too. Do you use the collection sheets, or just keep them in a box or baggie to send in?

@nonersays I keep them in a baggy because I don't have the time for those sheets. I think they send them home occasionally.

Nice of you to try and help the local school system!
I've seen the labels for education too, but have never collected them. My sons school only does box tops.

I did not know about the collection sheets. I used to give them to my daughter in law, but it does not seem to be important to her. My dad collects them for somewhere, maybe a Christian school.

I used to collection them for my school, but I don't go to school any more now. I don't think they're as common any more. When I was in elementary school, they really pushed for those box tops. Now it seems like they're not even asking for it. Which is weird because they need it now more than ever before.

Some schools are more active in collecting them than others. Our school collects them, but other than the first sheet they sent home don't seem to be too active in collection. Other schools have big bulletin boards, and games and contests having to do with box tops. I found this out while looking on the box tops for education instagram page last night.,

Our school does collect box tops and I save them for my grandchildren. I think it's a great way for the schools to make some extra money

I know. It just takes 10 to make a buck. And it only takes a second to cut them out. I don't understand why more parents at my son's school don't sent boxtops in!
