Another House, Another Dog

I'm back in Taupo, having come in from the farm and stayed at my sister's house over night. My other niece came in for dinner and they brought their dog with them, the beautiful lab shown here.
I'm more used to labs, we had one quite similar to this for many years. This dog, being a lab, and with his Mummy and Daddy, was as friendly as labradors can be.
In a few hours I'll be making my way homeward again, back to Smooch the Cat and my husband. I hope you enjoyed the little glimpse at some of the more rural parts of New Zealand. There will be still a few more to come.

My haphazard system works well. When someone comments I go and read something from their post, then often read one from someone who has commented on their post. By the time I reach the end of my notifications I've interacted with a lot of people.

Labs are mild compared to many and being with family this dog must have felt quite at home. Your Smooch must be missing you too.

what a handsome fella! 'been years since i've a yellow lab, the hubs seems more partial to the black'uns fer some reason. i'm sure ya can't wait to get back home, safe travels!
