Would you try it?

I have been reading about the Las Vegas Spa employee who was found frozen and dead in a cryotherapy chamber. It appears that cryotherapy has become the new health craze for athletes and others who want a quick way to relieve aches and pains. It is being offered by many spas and is not regulated. For the treatment, you are placed full body in a chamber with sub-zero temperatures for about one or two minutes. It is also touted as aiding in weight loss, improving circulation and anti-ageing. Have you or would you try cryotherapy?

I was thinking the same thing. I could walk out of my door in the middle of winter and get the same "benefit"

@Freelanzer I could take the sauna because my friend increased the heat at a tolerable level so I could adjust but cold never worked that with me. I would think it wouldn't be very pleasant.

@Bluedoll I hate the cold too. My chiropractor would always advise me to use cold on a recent injury and it is torture on just a shoulder or back so I can't imagine my whole body submerged in cold.

That sounds so dangerous and no I don't think I could do this one. I feel there is a limit to life and if you play around with yours it can end faster than you think. You have no idea what this will do to you in the end or how safe it is.

Like maybe a spa employee may get a text of phone call and forget you in the freezer

@Freelanzer I think more on the lines of a malfunction of the machine and they can't turn it off and next thing you are a human Popsicle or something else.

I avoid the cold as much as I can and I too wouldn't try it even though they say it eases aches and pains

Heck no, I won't even do mammograms or other crazy stuff. I think if the Great Spirit wants me to freeze then I'd be in the arctic.
