The Halloween Blues...the day after

Halloween Ghost!

I ate all the candy, every last piece, I blamed it all on my nephew and niece. When I finished the chocolates I felt sorta ill, Then ate a pickle, it was a Kosher Dill. Candy corn was next, I scoffed it all down, My teeth were all colors, I looked like a clown. As you can imagine, I don't feel so good, Would I do it again? You know that I would!

It's very tempting to eat candy. I think people buy candy to hand out that they love to eat themselves. I think if it was me I would buy some other type of candy I didn't like so much but the kids really liked. Like those candies that pop in your mouth. Something like this.

When we gave out candy we always bought what we like so in case no one showed up at least we could eat it. We haven't had one kid come to any of the 4 homes we've lived in in Tennessee...We are too far off the road and kids sure don't walk!

@poehere Exactly. Around here the churches handle it - people use their parking lots and then the kids some w/parents and they just walk from car to car...

@AbbyGreenhill Yah too many parents are willing to drive them around so they can cover more ground and get more candy.

@AbbyGreenhill It is too cute. I have ceramic paste down in the basement, but it will never be ready for tomorrow night.

Thanks...I got the ghost at a yard sale. The lady made them in ceramics class and I know how much work that is and she was selling them for $1 - I bought 6 and gave them as gifts and kept that one.

Very funny poem. I am not sure I could handle the dill pickle followed up by the candy corn. Talk about polar opposite tastes.
