My absent minded daughter...

My daughter is so funny. She and I will be talking about something and she will go downstairs to get something she wants to show me. I may not see her again for hours. Next time she comes up I will ask her about whatever it was and she will say, "Oh, I forgot!" Now I think I am one that has reason to be forgetful and absent minded. I am 20 years older, have been in two accidents where I was hit in the same area of the head, anxiety causes me to have memory issues too. So, my daughter and I were chatting up in my room. She went downstairs to get a receipt to show me how much some thing cost. It's been about twenty minutes now and I haven't heard from her. Gotta love her, she has a lot going on.

I can totally relate to that, since i get distracted easily too I go into a room to get something then someone talks to me or asks for a hand, then i totally forget it but sometime i remember that i had something to get but i forgot what it was

sounds like my son who made a date to see me last s/Saturday afternon, got into repairing a tread mill and forget his mom and the visit completely but he did c o me to see me Tuesday evening.

Ha that is funny Celtic. Yes I can relate to that. My son does the same thing..I am always astounded as I think he should be remembering better than mebecause of age, but when the brain is overwhelmed with info, I guess that is what happens.
