What sort of pumpkin head do you like?

I was clicking at some PTC sites while I ate my omelette and discovered that there were mainly two sorts of pumpkin heads. There are the happy ones and the sour, angry ones. Last year I bought a pumpin and carved it. Besides the lack of knowledge, I think that my pumpkin was more a sad one. This year I will not buy one. But I have seen then at internet and wondered which of them were the most popular. Do you carve pumpkins? What do you prefer?

That is one thing I've never done, I'm not overly creative that way so instead I take pictures of things I find interesting, mostly my pets.

I was curious last year so I bought one. Just imagine a 70 year old witch carving a pumpkin!

Hummm @marguicha you made my imagination conjure an image that made me laugh but it didn't look much like you, was it hard to do?

@rebelann Carving that pumpkin was actually quite easy. We have gourds here that are difficult to cut. Not so with this one.

This is so funny. I just asked the same question yesterday. Seems like many readers here on the site don't carve pumpkins anymore. A few said they stopped and some said they now have fake one. I always liked scary ones.

In my country we don“t grow pumpkins. But just like we imported the holiday, we also imported the gourd. Last year I bought one to see how I could carve it. I did and was quite proud of my efforts. I did not do well cooking the inside though.

@poehere Our gourds would be very difficult to carve unless I did it with an electric saw

@marguicha We don't have pumpkins like they do in the US but we do have ones that we can carve here.

I do not carve pumpkins, but I bought a couple of ceramic pumpkins to decorate the table, they are happy pumpkins.
