Our Purpose

Some people believe they have many purposes in life , while others believe they have one Big purpose.
A few of my friends and I had a conversation about this today. I feel my life is made up of many different purposes. It is dynamic and my purpose in one persons life may not be the same in another persons life.
What are your thoughts?

I think if you only had one purpose it would make you pretty one dimensional. I do think you have a different purpose in each situation.

Do we really have a purpose? Maybe people that have kids might have a purpose to raise those children and help advance society. But to those that don't have children, maybe there is no actual purpose at all. But I think it all comes down to an individual thing.

@CRanney It really is an individual thing. Celebrities, well, they is just their career. Not their purpose. In my opinion, everyone is a celebrity in their own right. Just because someone is famous does not mean they are better then people who are not famous. We are actually all special. As for purpose, like I said, we have different ideals what we consider a purpose.

As a Christian I believe I have only one main purpose and that is to glorify God in my life.
