“Normality is a paved road: It’s comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it.” - Vincent van Gogh My son is in hospital - nearly choked to death on a piece of steak last night at a restaurant, they had to surgically remove and today they are doing a scope of his trachea and other tests. Nothing has been normal in 2015.

Oh no so sorry to hear that. Was the steak piece just too big or is there something wrong with your son's trachea? Hope he recovers soon.

He is Asthmatic and apparently he was on his way to having an attack so the airways were closing - the steak got lodged in the lung pipe and they had to surgically remove it and then they did a scope - his stress levels are very high and they have given him recovery time and some meds to help with all three - Asthma, stress, and acids

@Inlemay Sounds awful. I have asthma but luckily never had an asthma attack, but my asthma is getting worse lately. Is his asthma usually that bad?

I am having a SLOW trot it seems - if it were a run it would be over already - I wish the finish line was near.

Sometimes it just does not rain but pour. But I am sure all what you facing this year will soon be history. Hope your son recovers.
