Older posts/discussions Do you ever go back over your older post? Looking at them remembering, what you had written. I know sometimes I don’t really want to do that, going back and seeing what I‘ve written. Most of my posts are a personal posts of what I’m going through at the time of writing so sometimes it could hard to go back. Anyway I decided I would go and take a look and see if there were any comments I’d not answered. Surprise there were a few comments I’d not answered on one post. I did the comments and more new comments came. My older post, few months old come back to life with new activity which I find amazing. Maybe I should go back and look and at a few more see if I’ve missed more comments. It’s good to bring back to life older post, Mylot is so unlike the “What it’s name website”, you all know the one I mean. Have a wonderful Saturday.

I have rewritten some of my old discussions only because they were outdated, and I wanted to bring them up to date. Those discussions were written in the old mylot, so I wasn't worried about losing any earnings, as they said they didn't count. Now that they are rewritten they do count. I have got new commetns and responses to them as well, but not lately, but that is okay as I have others that are doing great now, so I concentrate on those.

@kevin1877uk I have taken care of all my old discussions, as i have enough new ones to worry about, as I am getting lots of responses, and I need to keep commenting, so that I can get more notifications, thus more money. It has been slow the last few days, and I hope this week is better.

I was on about comments from your older posts. I don't think you can rewrite your older posts because that would mean you have two of the same, ok maybe if you wrote it differently would be ok.

It is surprising what happens when you go back to old posts. I have gone back and simply 'liked' some responses and comments and, lo and behold, some of those people have turned up and said: "I didn't realise that MyLot still existed/was paying again!" There are also some responses and comments which I had forgotten about and to which I can add updates and more information. It's really nice that all our old discussions, responses and comments still exist from way back when!

@kevin1877uk @owlwings I have been very surprised that some of my discussions from several years ago have been "reborn" and gotten a substantial number of new responses and comments. It is nice when discussions are "timeless" and can be relevant then and now.

I periodically go to older discussions to see if I can "wake up" older users. I also will go to my own discussions because it seems there is always something you miss. In the old myLot each time there was an interaction on a discussion it came back to the top of the list. I am not positive that still happens but it was a nice way to keep a discussion alive.

The missing of comments is one area that B is better at. I never missed comments there - I do here.

I normally only go back to my older discussions when I am notified of a new comment or response. I have gone back and commented on some other people's older discussions, though. It really does not matter when the discussion is created, which I do not think that some people realize.

No, I never go back to my old posts and it's a shame because I am sure I missed some comments. I am so busy with the daily notifications that I have no time for everything.

@LadyDuck - we only have so much time to spend and no one can do everything. I think paying attention to new discussions is more beneficial.

I have scrolled back through old posts of some members when there has been very little activity here, which has resulted in finding some interesting material to comment on. As for my own, I have paid little attention to them since I returned to the site.

Going back to old discussions and answering to comments would inject new life to the discussion.Recently I received a comment to one of my old discussions and in split seconds got a like for the discussion. It only take someone to like or comment any old discussion to resurrect old discussions. Its good idea..
