I love to watch plays. When did I discover that? When my mom tagged me along to watched Nora Aunor's (famous actress in Philippines) play "DH". DH stands for Domestic Helper. In that play, she portrays all the trials that have been encountered by a Filipina being a maid in a foreign land. I think I am 7 years old that time. I do not missed watching plays in our school, specially the "Noli Me Tangere" and "El Filibusterismo" in high school. Love with plays do not stopped when I am already in my college years. I am so glad that here in Singapore almost monthly there are new plays in different theaters. Here I watched the Wicked and Phantom of the Opera. It is quite expensive that is why I always see to it to watch one play per year only haha! This is my small luxuries in life. Next year, Les Misérables is here to visit. We bought already the ticket and the show starts on May. I am so excited! Hehe!

I love theater and love musicals. My sons are both involved in the theater. I get to see a few plays every year.

I can see you are really interested in watching plays. Since you already bought the ticket for next year I am curious whether the plays sung in Italian? I know English will be the best for you. But it seems that the original plays shall be sung in Italian and this is not a very common language.

@Lucky15 So no more sarswela? I hope theater actors/actresses will make our theatrical stages alive again.
