It's getting so cold to be at the computer

I have seen that I am getting less notifications lately. And I was wondering why this is happening. And I think that I got it now: it is the cold weather!!! I have to confess that being on the computer is not the best thing to do when it is cold. In the end, my hands are so freezing. It is terrible. But there is no way I can be at the computer with gloves. What about you? Are you also bothered to be at the computer when it is cold? Do you think this is the reason why I am getting less notifications?

@kevin1877uk I am not that warm. It is just my fingers that get extremely cold.

I love to be at the computer. More so because that is how I earn my bread and butter. I do not have a choice. So cold or no cold, if I am not suffering from Arthritis bouts or my other health conditions, there is no other option for me. So I have started liking it.... because I cannot continue with something that I do not like. As for you getting less of notifications, your participation is less now a days, and also, you dont seem to start too many discussions of late.

I think partly it is because of the "suggestion" button being no more and @fufurinha here failed to share her discussions with us. That's why she's getting less notifications these days.

I love to be in the computer as well. Just not when it is too cold that my hands freeze.

@Jlyn10 Yes, and also not many our followers share our discussions to those who can add value to these or even have a good time on these.

Thankfully, we don't get much cold weather here. So that means I get to spend more time here than you. If we do get it ... the cold weather, the best place to be is in my bed, all curled up in my blanket. How awesome can that be.

It is not cold where I live but I do know other places are having cold weather. I am not sure if it's because people are busy lately or what the reason is but I hope things pick up again soon!

Yes, I have felt that the discussions are less since the last weekend. Probably they are more busy or coming up with more non-interesting discussions that I do not find easy to be on.

Hmmm.... Uh... no, hon, my NetBook lives on my bed. I am normally laying in my bed while I am typing on my pc... My hands never get cold from typing. (I keep my bedroom at a constant 65 degrees (F) or 18.33 degrees (C).) Normally, I have noticed that traffic slows down to our blogs or stories as the weather gets warmer, because people want to get out and play in the warm sunshine. Just the opposite happens as the year moves into the colder months because nobody wants to go out into the bitter cold weather, so they go online more. I don't know where most of your traffic (notifications) come from, but if you know, you could check the weather for that area on Friday and you may see that that area of the globe was having a beautiful sunny day.

I was just kidding. That might be true that people go out often when the weather is good, so less traffic online.

My daughter has a pair of fingerless glove/mittens. They're gloves without fingers with a flap that can be worn like mittens. It allows her to type when the temperature in the hunt camp we live in gets a bit chilly. I'm a little less susceptible to the cold but I have to be away from the computer now and then to drag in firewood and stoke the fire.

I heard that if you sit on your hands, they will warm up fast. I also heard if you have someone else sit on your hand, you could get slapped and probably yelled at. Especially on a public bus. With a stranger. lol
