Calling all chocolate lovers

My name is AbbyG and I'm a choc-a-holic! While I prefer dark chocolate, I'll settle for milk chocolate in a pinch.
There is a big discount store of a well known candy company about 25 minutes from here...Russel Stover. But even though you can get a good deal there, it's pretty much just basic chocolates.
I have several candy stores on my short list - stores I found on vacation in Beaufort, SC and other locations and one I discovered from a friend online. I'll tell you about the one I found online. It is called....See's Candies and to me it's far better than Godiva and not as costly.
They are located in Long Beach,California and I believe they have brick and motor stores in parts of that state. Since I'm a little far from CA I buy online.
They have all the basics but what I like is that I can customize a box of candy.
* First I pick the size box - 1 pound.
* Then I choose dark chocolate without nuts.
* Then I get to pick which candies I want in that one pound. I always get a few Lemon Truffles, Dark Chocolate Butter, Raspberry Creme and Dark Patties.
If you are a chocolate lover and have not tried See's Candies. Look them up online but be careful not to drool on your keyboard!

Yes, that's what they say and I think it dark chocolate is recommended.

I do enjoy chocolate very much. I have a hard time eating it now though because my teeth aren't good. =(

Oh why did you have to post this now? Haha. I am so hungry right now, I am just waiting for it to hit the lunch hour and then I am off to chow down. I have grown to like chocolate, I just despise chocolate cake.

@AbbyGreenhill Oh my god I love chocolate pudding, shakes and some chocolate candy bars like 3 musketeers yum! I dont know why I dont like all chocolate for my cake, maybe its just too much. My mom seems to forget and bought me a cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate cake I was so bummed

Unfortunately, I don't like chocolate too much, I have gastric pains, I have to reduce consume chocolate.

I've been looking for something to send my aunt & uncle for Christmas. I think you might have solved my dilemma as these sounds so good. I might just have to get myself some dark chocolate raspberry cremes!! ok I'm drooling

Chocolate is a triggers for migraines. Also not the best for people prone to kidney stones.

hi Ilive in Southern C alifornia and used ot go to the mallof orange to shop. I always stopped in at
Sees candy shop to sample the new flavors and buy a mixed box they did make some wonderful chocolates in deed. I also like Ghairdellis too Im sure I have spelled that wrong.They are based in S an F rancisco ca.

That's cool! Being able to customize your own box of chocolates! The hardest part for me would be trying to figure out where to begin.

I love the assorted box with nuts in them. Last year I got several coupons in the mail to get free boxes. I got one box for each one of my kids that live by me. I got a box for me and my husband to. Last week I got frozen pizza coupons for free pizzas in the mail. I gave them to my grandson.
