dear neighbor and friend. She passed a couple of years ago in the winter. She had lost her kids due to her addiction to oxy. The addiction took place when she was in a horrific accident which disfigured half of her face. She always wore her hair over one eye and down over her face. My daughter and I were used to hearing her particular knock in the morning when she came over for a cup of coffee and to share a cigarette with my daughter. She is really missed. She died of what we all think was an overdose as she was not able to get her addiction under control and couldn't live without her kids anymore. She was a good woman, great mom but just couldn't handle the pain of the bones in her face and losing her family. It is a double edged sword. Love you Dana.

I think if she had been able to keep the kids she wouldn't have felt so down and out and could of licked them.

I feel sorry for Dana, she did not stand being disfigured and became addicted. May she rest in peace.

Im so sorry for your loss, iot seems awful to me that theytook her kids but I guess they had reason b ut I bet that had a lot to do with her overdose.I feel bad for her too as her pain must have been just awf ul after that horrible accident.

It sure was sad. The loss of her kids did have a lot to do with the over dose. I think she just felt helpless. Even the pills couldn't relieve her pain.
