France deployed 50 elite troops to the country of Mali as news reports flooded in depicting a hostage situation in which up to 170 people have been held by gunmen who stormed the Radison Blu Hotel in Mali. Elite special forces have already entered the hotel and are presently going floor by floor to clear the hotel and release the hostages. Several people already reported dead. Let's hope and pray that all the hostages are rescued safely! When is the madness going to end?

@moffittjc The only time I think this madness is going to end, is when the world ends.

Unfortunately, as the world population continues to grow, and our natural resources continue to diminish, this world is only going to continue to get more and more violent. Australia might bode well for a longer period than other places, so you at least have that going for you!

There are already 27 people killed. When does this horror stop?

I'm worried that it's just going to keep getting worse.

There are days when I believe the violence is endless.I notice not a lot of reports about this particular situation today.

Yes, I heard about this news but no further information yet. It reminds me of a movie I just watched, it is called No Escape. I felt very upset and uncomfortable to watch this movie because the terrorists are without mercy. They killed people brutally. And now this news is for real and it makes me feel worse because this is not a movie. I hope the damage and hurts will be less.

I think terrorists are going to strike wherever they can most easily find a target. And unfortunately, they are spread out everyone across the world, so everybody needs to be on guard.
