The Cost of Food

Is is just me or has the price of food gone up again? I went to the store and I only had to get a few things. Less than 30 items and it was $150 and that was without any meat. The cost of fresh veggies seems to go up every week.
I am making Spinach salad, and fish for my birthday dinner. Plus, I had to get a few thing for Thanksgiving dinner.
Sometimes I just can't believe what it cost just to eat these days.

That is so true. Soon you will have to be rich just to eat.

Here it is the same. Since I don't often go to the market, but once I go there to buy some food, I found that the price for the food has increased hugely again. Perhaps it is due to inflation, labor costs, gas charges etc. In brief, everything's price is increasing except for the salary

I always make sure that I make good use of coupons. I also grow a lot of my own fruit and veggies and freeze what I can.

Yes I have noticed this also. Last time i went shopping i didn't have a whole lot and it cost just as much as yours did. Even buying fruits and veggies alone can be expensive. I understand why some have to rely on food stamps.
