I woke up to a white and frosty world today, very chill, could see your breath. The couple of weeks of fall maybe finally over and we are in to winter. Who knows, Texas is odd like that.
Plans today include the usual chores, laundry is already half done, and I have picked up some. I need to shampoo the carpets in two rooms (the day we can afford to rip these carpets out and put down bamboo, I will SO happy. I hate carpet). Plus someone is coming today to look at the fence. Hopefully he can repair and fix things and can help me formulate a shopping list for what he will need to do so. I hope it's cheap, there are things I need that money for, that do not involve fence repairs.
I know, this is a mundane post, but I plan to write something more meaningful later.
So what all have ya'll be up too?

I'm up to a little over 5 feet 4 inches! Oh, back on topic - I marinated meat for dinner, I made lunch. I have laundry in the dryer, I took a shower...read the mail, and threw out 10 catalogs.

me too.... I mean we knew this needed done, but we were saving for it. going to have to park in on the CC that I ALMOST paid off from the 2k that was on it! Grrr

yeah not really related, but I wasn't awake enough to get a photo before the sun burned it all off, lol. I was in a helicopter when I took that one

hahaha, no problem there. We want wood, I like the fact its more durable and better for the enviroment in that we aren't using trees.

We've seen snow but Thanksgiving is supposed to be in the 50's again... a real heatwave.

I am sure our floors would get super chilly, but slippers are cheap, keeping carpet nice around pets is hard, and it wasn't in the best shape when we bought the place
