Shopping on Thanksgiving.

I work almost every Thanksgiving because of my job being open all day and all night. As much as I wish I could spend all day with my family, I know I make great money on the holidays, so I don't complain too much about it.
So yesterday after I got off work in the morning, I went home, took a shower, got ready and headed over to my in laws place for food. Yummy food was had and I am so thankful I got to spend that day with people I love.
Anyways, fast-forward, right after dinner and dessert, we headed over to a shopping destination to pick up a few items since they start the "Black Friday" deals early.
At first I though it made me a bad person to shop on the day where I should be thankful for everything I have. But then I realized these poor workers are going to be there regardless if I go in or not, so why shouldn't I get a great deal on a few things? It's not like I'm going to trample people to death for it! (Haha, too soon?) Plus I also had to work in the morning so I don't feel much sympathy for anyone working on the holidays.

Yes, Gobble Gobble! I would hate to be some of the salesperson working today. Ugh! Hope you got some good deals.

I believe that everything should be closed on Thanksgiving. And that whole black Friday thing is not really true. There are no real deals to be had. All the stores care about are their bottom line. See, I did all my shopping already online. So I am now done. It is a great feeling.

@DanieGirl80587 I decided that I wasn't going to go shopping in the stores for everything. I think I bought 3 things in stores. The rest of it was all online. Way easier. And more fun actually.

Oh yes. So true. There were many nice generous people that came in that day, but I was appalled at some of the rude people that didn't have a clue with what I go through, especially around the holidays.
