Ok. So I fell for a Black Friday offer.

I was browsing my email in peace when I stumbled upon an offer of a food dehydrator (English). It´s a gadget you can use to dry fruits and even meat.
I wanted to buy it last year, when I had a lot of apricots. The price went down now that, after the pruning, my apricot tree will yield only few apricots.
Never mind, I said. I can always dry apples and pears and other fruit so as to have some healthier snack on hand.
The shipping is free but I will not know whether I will recieve it until I see it. I have to pay for it when I recieve it so I´ll think of it as a lottery until it comes.
I don´t usually shop online. I think that I have done it only a few times in my life.
Do you shop more online orr in the normal, old way?

I shop more online than I used to since I have been more isolated with my illness. Glad you found a good deal. And no shipping. Yah!

I thought I´d buy my groceries online when I was on chemo. But then I decided against it as the amount of brands is much less than at a supermarket. So I got an additional Visa card for Leticia and she went with the list.

This is the first time that I buy from this company and the first time they ask mt for cash on delivery. Previously I had bought a couple of big items from a well known apartment store.

@marguicha There is a level of protection involved with Cash on Delivery, but it makes the potential of non delivery greater.

@Asylum I just told Leticia that if she knew how to pray, to pray that the thingy came to uor lives. Meanwhile, it´s just like wishing for something to happen.

I bought my freezer and a pressure cooker last year but from a big store that would not scam me. I don´t think I´d buy some garments or shoes without trying them.

Oh I've been wanting a food dehydrator for the longest time but never did buy one! It would have come in handy when I made apple fruit leather earlier in the year for my son's class, in the regular oven it took 10 hours!!! I rarely shop online too - I'd rather go to a physical store to look and touch what I am potentially getting. Plus I just like to be out to see the sights while I shop and perhaps chat with some strangers or two. Shopping is a whole experience for me - I don't get that with online shopping.

I don´t usually shop online. But I have been wanting a dehydrator for the longest time and have made a whole investigation on brands. This was the one I wanted but at a lower price.
I hope it comes.

I would never have done that. I happened to see the dehydrator on an offer in my mail and I called.

It is a useful item you have purchased Marguicha. I have not bought anything.

The first items I bought online were some much needed garments when I was on chemo. There is a nonprofit institution that sells from hat to wigs for a small price.
I don´t often buy anything either.

@marguicha Good you could get those items at the non profit. I hope your illness is in remission now.

My wife shops for vitamins and school materials online and that is most of what we buy online. Not very much really. Shipping costs in Canada are ridiculous otherwise we'd buy more. Hope you get your dehydrator and you get many years of good usage out of it.

I have been wanting it for 2 years. Now that it is less expensive, I will have less apricots. I suppose I will use it in bought fruit this year.

99% of things I purchase are online. I never had a problem and will be doing all of my Christmas shopping online too. Hope you get your food dehydrator
