I Would Rather Shop Online

On my way home today from doing a home visit with a patient, I passed one of our largest malls. The parking lot was absolutely packed. Every space was taken. I couldn't believe it. Usually, that mall is almost empty, to the point where I often wonder how it survives.
I know that for people who wait for this day each year, they are trying to save hundreds of dollars on electronics and other big ticket items. Since I am not in that spending category, I just observe the ritual, and drive on by.
However, I got my own little thrill today, when the UPS truck pulled up and gave me a pair of shoes I had ordered that were on sale online. They are TEVA sandals, and they are the best. Now is the time where sandals and summer shoes are on sale. You can't even find them in the stores, as they are out of season. Sandals are always in season in Florida, however.
I enjoy online shopping, for the variety and to be able to compare prices. I don't buy a lot anyway, and am careful about what I do buy.
So, bless all those who went into battle today in the malls.

I like the fact that we can get items from Europe or anywhere in the world, almost. I order soap from France for my brother each year. A few days ago, I got some special wire clothespins from Germany. Sounds expensive, but it wasn't!

@ThankyouLord I love it myself. We can shop in almost any store in almost any country. And it gets delivered right to our doorstep. How awesome is that, really.

I think online shopping there are deals that we don't want to miss and lasso a deal in between makes it so much nicer.

Some people just feel more comfortable buying what they can touch, see and smell. But when you are looking for variety or a "better mousetrap", online shopping is a wonderful thing.

I love shopping online because I forget I ordered something until it comes in the mail, then It feels like Christmas.

I do almost all of my shopping at thrift stores or online, so I avoid the mall like the plague unless I want wifi or have a specific reason to be there.

I noticed i did more online shopping this year compared to other years..could be it is easier and better deals plus no worrying of mean customers..hahaah

I have no patience with crowded place so I never really shop on crowded days. I do online shopping rather for something really needed at home but when it is not Christmas season I still want to go to the mall and shop for personal items.

I used to be all for Black Friday shopping, but now I prefer to shop at home during the sale rush! I'll go shopping on any other day though!

Yeayyy me too!!!! i love window shopping from my screen than having to walk around the mall, its tiring, plus i get to get good bargain with online deals.
Its fun to get postman ringing my bell and get those items i ordered. It may be not instant as buying at shopping mall, but usually it arrive the next day or in just few days ..

HeHe we don't worry about this one here. There is no black Friday on the islands. Here we just basically have a giant fair and all the shops sell there. This is normally were we visit to get the stuff for the kids for Christmas. A lot of time when the kids were younger around here I would wait until the 23rd or 24th because all the stuff was way marked down so low. It worked out perfect for me. But now they are getting older so basically I just get them clothes for Christmas. They always need clothes they are growing so fast.

i buy most of thin online but you said like that carefully,there is lots of sites where you can purchase but some are good and some are not.i bought mostly thing from amazon and flip-kart which is good and if problem then they exchange it or give money so till i have no problem with them.i not go in mall for shopping from last 6 month.

I can't imagine anything worse than tackling crowds of people in a shopping mall - or parking lot! Glad your sandals have arrived.
