Time off...good or bad?

So, I used to think that I lived a rather hectic life. I don't have what you would call a traditional 9-5 job. My day includes many different things, doing things for many people. Going here, going there. Doing this, doing that. I am always on the go and always doing something. I typically don't stop until 6 or 7, and by then I am pretty much ready to relax or lay down for the night. Over the past few days, I have had nothing to do. I have been having "lazy" days. I have been trying to find things to do to give myself an excuse to get up. Other then that I am sitting here on my couch. I might get on my laptop and get on myLot. I try to anyway. I try and do work on my other sites here and there, but really I have no motivation because I am not up and moving around so I just get tired quickly. So this weekend, I found a new respect for my hectic life and I will not complain about it ever again. For those who have time off....are you enjoying it? Or are you ready to get back to work on Monday?

It is funny how we can be so efficient when we have lots to do then be so inactive if we think we have nothing to do! I guess we need the quiet times to recuperate.

I'm always busy doing sometime, never bored with nothing to do, if I'm not online I'm either knitting, out taking photos or something. Something I think it would be nice not to do anything than again maybe not lol.

@T_gray You may well be right if we did stop and did nothing, being busy keep us going. Sometimes it nice though just to have time to yourself.

I don't work outside of the home but my children keep me plenty busy enough! Lol. Relaxation doesn't come too often but when it does I try to enjoy it.

@T_gray My one and only hobby is writing. I have three books published and a fourth being worked on and hopefully will be published next year. At the rate it's going and the computer I'm dealing with makes it problematic.

@just4him writing is awesome. I wish I was better at it and more patient. I started a novel years ago but can't get myself to work on it. Sorry to hear about the computer

When I had a job, I always made the most of my time. Even when I had time off, I needed to catch up on things I didn't have time for when I was at work. I was laid off in 2012, and I haven't had a "real" job since. Now I have gotten used to having unstructured time, and I usually have plenty to do. I do go through periods of being unmotivated, but it does not last long.

Beings that I have OCD I have a hard time with change. My days are planned out the same almost everyday. And when something disturbs that is throws everything off.

Even when I was out of town I was busy, and I came here as well. I do not think I can not come here.

I would much rather be busy than not have anything to do.
