Leonardo Dicaprio should win an Oscar for acting like NOT winning an Oscar doesn't bother him!
But, is he acting though? Because I'm pretty sure being on a boat somewhere near Greece with a dozen European goddesses who want his body, while surrounded by plates of fresh fruit and bottles of expensive champagne, is much better than a golden statue!
What do you think? Is Leo EVER going to win an Oscar? And do you think he really cares?

@moffittjc lol well I don't know. I have a feeling he may care. Having an Oscar would be an honour to many actors.

I'm pretty sure he did care about winning an Oscar, and it was probably driving him crazy that he hadn't won one in so long!

@Daljinder Yes, he finally did win his coveted award. He's still not a good actor though, in my opinion.

I think he would like to win an Oscar, but he will still be happy without it. Yes, i think he does care and wished he could win one.

I think it is absolutely eating him up that he hasn't won an Oscar yet! He hides it well, but I think it bothers him.

I've never liked him either...even going all the way back to when he was a boy in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape." I never could put a finger on why I didn't like him, but now I know! It's like you said...he just looks greasy! lol

I think he ended up getting his Oscar. It was just interesting that he kept being overlooked year after year, and every time he downplayed it. But I bet it was eating him up inside. For actors, getting an Oscar is considered an ultimate achievement.
And I'll do my best not to get too jealous!

@moffittjc I didn't know that he received an Oscar. I probably fell asleep during one of the thank you speeches. I'm sure it ate him alive, because he was so close so many times, even when Titanic won so many awards. And lol!

Leo is the overwhelming odds on favorite to win Oscar this year. He cares about winning. It was reported he had a fit about not even being nominated for Titanic.

I've been hearing a lot of press about how great Leo is in his new movie. I haven't seen it yet, but all the buzz about his great acting have made me more interested in seeing it.

Oh well I saw him in few movies and he acted well but I have not seen the movies of other nominees so I can't really tell.

I agree! I think it's only a matter of time. Plus, he's been getting a lot smarter about the movie roles he is choosing to play, so as he makes better acting choices, he'll start seeing more accolades for his work.

I'm never fussed about these 'pats on the back' actors give themselves, but I can see that it would be something niggling for him. He does deserve to win, simply because he's an incredible actor and a thoroughly decent chap, by all accounts.

He's probably downplaying it so that if by some chance he doesn't win it, he won't have gotten his hopes up too high!

He may have cared even if teensy weensy bit.
I don't like him that much. Actually, I don't like any actors very much Hollywood Bollywood alike. No fan-girling on my part.
