Woman arrested after posting picture of dog with mouth taped

Many may have read details about a woman post pictures to a Facebook page of a dog with its mouth taped shut. The woman has since been arrested and charged with animal cruelty. This woman allegedly made this comment on this Facebook page: "This is what happens when you don't shut up." Later she was quoted as saying it was only for a minute (like that makes us feel better?) but the dog did not bark again. There is more-but all of you reading this get the picture. Really sad.

Its been all over facebook and the news for two days and I hope she gets a hefty fine and the 150 days in jail. We won't say what I think should be done with her and a role of duct tape.

I saw that! I suppose she was trying to be funny (which it wasn't) to get attention - and attention is what she got! That was so terrible - she got what she deserved!

I'm so glad I don't know her. I would not be kind to her, So glad she was arrested, I saw it on the news...She made it to big time!

@shellyjaneo Not sure what will happen with this. In some areas, people are listed on an animal abuser registry and not allowed to have pets if found guilty of such crimes.

What a stupid thing to do, I hope she has to pay a big fine and stay in jail for at least a few days, so she will learn to respect animals.

@PatZAnthony I am also surprised, they never learn it seems. It's just like when children are not removed from abusive parents, too many times they are killed.

I'm glad she was arrested. I had a dog that barked all the time, until I crawled into his kennel one night and told him he better stop. I didn't do anything mean, but he got the idea. We had quiet nights after that. You don't need to be mean to a dog to get your point across to them.
