Santa was just here...

United States

...sorry, it was his assistant - the UPS Guy! He is flying today, he usually doesn't show up until 6:30 - he must have a light load today. That just about does it for deliveries to this house, except for the box of See's Candies that is! While Ruby wasn't paying attention earlier I put some of the wrapped gifts under the tree. As soon as she entered the room her nose went right to them. I told her none of hers were there, Santa has to bring them. I love having packages delivered instead of us running around to to find all the stores I would need if I didn't have Amazon and QVC. Thank to whoever came up with the idea of online shopping! I have ordered this morning what I still needed from Amazon France, they deliver free to Switzerland and have a great service.

@LadyDuck I did most of mine the same way - I do have to pick up a few things at a real store and I'm finished.

With the world as crazy as it is I'll shop from home and stay safer.

@Jessicalynnt It's easier to check for bargains online compared to running around in a store with a calcualtor!

It is nice but sometimes I like to go out and feel the clothing if that is what I am going to buy.

Not one piece of clothing did I buy - and since I know what these items already feel like I don't miss driving to a mall 2 hours away..that's not my cup of tea.

@marcyaz since I normally buy similar items when it comes to clothing I just buy online. I hate having to try clothes on in a dressing room

@Marilynda1225 I don't buy a lot of clothes. I take them home to try on and if they fit fine- it not I'll take them back next trip to town.

I make my Christmas wish list visiting sites on the net, it is a lot easier.

@Marilynda1225The only person who needs a wish list from me is my husband and he doesn't use a computer - which makes things a little difficult.

I also make a wishlist on Amazon so my family can get an idea of what I want Santa to bring

I'd be lost without Amazon and QVC too. The UPS man is making many trips to my house Thankfully I"m almost done with my shopping

I do more on-line shopping than I used to, but some things I want to see in person before I buy. But shopping on-line really is convenient.

I don't worry about online shopping and not liking something or whatever, I send it back if Im not happy. If you live in the country you give up some things, like convenient malls.
