C= Christ H= Holly R= Ringing of the bells on Chiristmas Day I= Ivy S= Singing Christmas Carols T= Tree M= Mistletoe A= Angels bringing the good news of Christ's birth S= Songs about Christ Christmas is my favorite holiday, and it isn't for just the gifts. To me is about the birth of Christ first and foremost, and singing of his birth. It is also the time when I can spend it with my family, who are very special to me. Let us all remember what the meaining of Christmas is, and put Christ first.

II will always ut Jesus first. I don't know where I would be without him, as I know that things would be worse than what they are. Sure, I have bad times, which I am going through right now, but when thet happens, I just send a prayer up to heaven and aks the Lord to help me, as I certainly can't do it on my own. I fail when I tru to do it on my own. I am so thankful that I found Jesus, and accepted him into my life.

@just4him I love Jesus so much, and it so sad that so many don't include Jesus in their Christmas, and they don't know what they are missing by not having them in their lives and in their hearts. Jesus is the reason for the season, and everyone needs to understand that.

It's also my favorite occasion . Not only the Christmas day , but for the whole Christmas season , where everyone seems to be always kind and happy .

I think you are right, that Christmas brings out the best in people. I know it does me. It is my favorite holiday, and more than anyting I enjoy spending it with family, even if there weren't any gifts. That isn't what Christmas is about anyway.

Wow, you gave meaning to every letter! That's great! Christmas is also my favorite time of the year because this is the day I can celebrate the birth of my Savior. Jesus is the reason why I celebrate Christmas with joy and cheers. I do also love the happiness of being together with the family in celebrating His birth.

With all the commecialism in the stores, Jesus just isn't given a thought, and it is sad. Christ needs to be kep in Christmas, as he is the reason for the season. I love hims so much, and thankful that I took him into my life, and I am thakful for my Christian family who always puts Jesus first.

@rosekiss Same here my friend, the day I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior is the best day of my life. Since then, my life was never the same again. There is no better life that living a life with Christ and for Christ and there is no better family than a Christian family. This is why I can't celebrate Christmas for other reasons. I will not allow commercialism to mess my Christmas.

@salonga I know what you mean. It seems to be getting worse and worse every year, as the stores start putting Christmas things out already in September or October. That is just to early. They could wait, but they want their money, and so they put out the things and hope that people will buy what they are selling. It is just to much.

@jaboUK Thank you so much for saying so. It took me a little time to come up with what I wanted each letter to respresent, but I do feel that it is okay and it lets people know how I feel about Christmas.

It could very well be. I just thought that I would let others know what Christmas means to me, and that it is my favorite holiday.

I couldn't agree with you more. America is supposed to be the land of the free yet it is frowned upon to say Merry Christmas.

I don't care, as I will say it anyway. If someone doesn't like it, then it is their problem and not mine. I don't think that anyone should be denied saying Merry Christmas, if that is their convictions. I would much rather say that than Happy Holidays. I am letting them know that by saying Merry Christmas, I have accepted Jesus and he is the reason for the season.

@simone10 I will always say it, and I have noticed that others will say it back, or they will say it first, and I say it back. There have been times though that I said Merry Christmas, and the person would say they don't celebrate Christmas. I never know who they are, so I will continue to say it anyway.

As long as you enjoy yourself and your family on that day, then that is okay too. I am a Christian, as I put Jesus first. I do enjoy being with my family as well, and I do have a good time with them, and that is all that matters.

You are so right. That is what I enjoy the most too. Good family time, just talking, and laughing, and having a good time. There are only 6 of us together at Christmas, but it is much more intimate that way. We enjoy reminiscing, watching Christmas movies, and just enjoying ourselves together as a family.

I have a Holy tree in the garden, I usually cut some small branches to decorate the gifts, but this year the blackbirds have eaten all the red berries.

Holly berries have a good smell, and it is ashame that the birds ate them. You really can't have holly without the berries. I do like that though, that you use it to decorate the gifts. That is really different, and unique. I have never seen that done before, and it sure sounds neat.

I was happy to see you separated all your letters and the associated words. On the preview it was all a jumble and I was a wee bit concerned. As I was looking at which discussion to check out first, this one reminded me of something I was going to look for in the basement and some work I was planning on getting done before work. So, I guess I need to step away for a bit so I don't forget again later on. I'll be back another time to see what else you've been up to.

I have been trying to come up with a discussion to do, and I will in time. I have just been doing notifications, and when I finish, then I will respond to new discussions, when I don't have anything else to do.

No, but I do know that it wasn't this time of year. It was more in the spring time. Since we really don't know the day of his actual birth, we celebrate it this time of year. I think as long as we recognize that he was born, that is all that matters. Jesus was born and I accept it no matter when it was.
