What is the Worst Gift You Ever Got?

I have gotten some bad gifts in my lifetime. Clothes that I would never wear or were way too big. Thanks to the people who thought, I was fat. I have gotten pictures that no one would dare hang in their homes.
The worst gift that I ever got was a ugly the statue that my mother-in-law got me. She loved it. Said, she saw it and thought of me. I hide it until I know she is coming over than I put it out.

@whiteream I think they will, I am putting white gravel on the bottom so it's more stable and put it outside in the garden.

It took me a while to think of something but I finally have. The gift wasn't for Christmas but recently my brother bought me a wig. He thought that on the days when I am not feeling good, I could just wear the wig instead of having to worry with fixing my hair. It was a sweet sentiment but it looks like a wig my grandmother would have worn. I didn't want to hurt his feelings so I kept giving excuses why I didn't try it on. One day he was joking around and saw the wig. He put it on his head acting all silly and looked in the mirror and was shocked because of how it looked. He has apologized over and over again for buying it for me.

@whiteream Exactly! The thing is, he is normally good at knowing what I like but I guess he just wasn't thinking that day...lol.

There was one year I got a rose bath and body set. I didn't particularly like the smell but even worse than that was it made me break out from head to toe. Lol. It was pretty bad.

The worst gift I ever got was from an aunt that had a very weird sense of humor and every Christmas she would go above and beyond finding the worst present for everyone. The one that stands out in my mind after over 50 years was a nose warmer. I never had a big nose so I could not understand why I got that gift.

@whiteream The smile faces you would go to the bottom left and it says my lot code. Hit on it and you will see lots of different ones. I love them.
A nose warmer, that my aunt gave me, is on a cord that you tie around your head and it covers the nose so it doesn't get cold. She always found the craziest gifts. We just lost her a couple of months ago at the age of 86. She was my last living aunt. Now I have no parents, aunts or uncles. So sad but I am still going strong and plan on staying that way till 100, which isn't unheard of as a few of my aunts and uncles were from 90-103 years old. I have a chance!!!!

uhhhmmm...I think it is a book. A childhood friend gave me the book " Pride and Prejudice". I like reading books. The book itself is not ugly at all. It was the way it was presented to me.

i've not had many bad gifts...., I like candles.... but one year I got a big candle that had a very strong floral smell which I disliked a lot....

I can't really remember too many bad gifts. I have a picture that I only hang when I know the person who painted it is coming.
