Notifications Cleared Alone!!!

I had no idea that such thing could happen! I had like 40 notifications to read from last week (because I didn't had time to see them all) and now they are gone! Forever!!!
I wish that someone had told me about this because now I will have many comments unanswered. And i don't like that AT ALL!!
Has this happened to you as well? Did you know it?

@fufurinha Thank you for bringing this up. I will now remember and will make sure not to keep my notification longer than a week. I don't get on as often as I would like so this information is important for me. I too thought they would be there until I deleted them.

@RasmaSandra I thought that too, at first, though I generally delete all my notifications as soon as I have dealt with them.

@fufurinha and @Auntylou Well if you consider it spamming that's fine. I personally like my notifs there. If you turn off the 'likes' it makes them more manageable.

i got daily 40 notification but i have enough time to reply it so its never gone,i just use one setting that remove like from setting so its not show like notification and only responses and comments so its easy to replay.

@fufurinha you know when here login in morning i have 54 notification without like so i have lots of work here and if i don't here for one day then it will rise.

I didn't know about this actually and as much as I feel bad for you about it, I am glad to know about it now instead of finding that out the hard way.
I understand where you are coming from. I would be feeling really incomplete if this happened to me. Very sorry that it has happened to you.
Did you perhaps put your settings as getting emails whenever someone spoke to you on here?

@Auntylou If you go back up this thread, I tell people how to fix their email notifications so your inbox is not spammed.

I get hardly 10 notification per day and i could easily reply that to all...i am wondered 40 notification per day..how can i get notification like this??
