Neighborhood cats visiting for goodies!

We have several neighborhood cats. These are not feral and they are well tended to by their rightful owners. However, cats being what they are like to stroll through the area and visit. Realizing they will be looking for a goody, we are in the habit of leaving a bit of something in one of their favorite places to look. The neighbors know their cats are out and about and aware of the treats everyone shares. It is just funny to see them stroll to the porch like they live here-and once they get the treat, off they go!

Cats seem to feel that they have just as much right to any space in the neighborhood as anyone else. I had a neighbor's cat walk into my open garage and have a good look around before ambling away. That's cat confidence!

I heard of a cat once that kept getting fatter and fatter. Turned out there were about four neighbours feeding it tidbits.

Yes, my friend has several "visiting" cats. They come over for a hand out even though several of them have homes of their own. I wouldn't want my cat being the neighborhood mooch lol

Cats are very good at loving who ever treats them and then when the treat is gone, they move on lol

I know this very well, the cat of my neighbor seems to prefer the food I offer him than what he eats at home. If he find nothing, he jumps on the kitchen windows and looks inside.

Cats are so funny and it's all about them. When they get what they want, then they move on to the next thing.

Those cats are no fools. They know where the good eats are.

my belief is that cats are nothing more than vessels with human spirits trapped inside.
