I Messed Up

Last night when I shut down the laptop, everything went haywire. I almost killed this computer as well as the other one being dead in the water, only this time it was my fault. I just spent the last four hours trying to get my Internet back. Last night I didn't have anything, no windows, nothing. You know that means a sleepless night for someone who is always on the computer. I was awake at 3 this morning to see if I had a computer. It turned on, but no Internet. I went back to bed. I would fix it in the morning. Morning two hours later - I went back to bed at 4. I started working at getting my Internet back. I did everything my mind could conceive of to get it taken care of and get everything back, but I was at a loss. I ate breakfast and told my son I was stupid. I told him what I did, then came back here to try again. More failure. Last resort - System restore. I had tried that already earlier this morning without success. I chose the earliest restore point, and it worked. As you can see, I got my Internet back. It just took me five hours if you count the hour between 3 and 4. So now I'm going to get my Bible Study Done - I haven't started yet, though it is opened up, and I will return. With all the problems I've had since last night, I have 143 notifications to go through. I'm going to do my best to whittle those away and see all of you who left me a notification. However, I do need to leave for a short time today for my counseling appointment. I also need to take my son to work later this afternoon. I hope your day is going better than mine started.
