Got my Hair Trimmed

Finally, after a year and almost a month, I got my hair trimmed.
It was last December 9, Wednesday, when my friend asked me to accompany her at the beauty parlor to have a haircut. She said she only has it done once a year and so I joined her. I also want my hair trimmed, but an inch is enough for me. I already had a fear of having my hair cut longer than what I want like what the haircutter did last year so I just had it trimmed now for an inch. My hair grew too slow.
A haircut for men and women at that salon costs 50 pesos or just US$1.06. How much do you spend for a haircut?

my long hair was cut last 1st of April and it was just at the level of my ears. before, my hair reached my elbow.
now, my hair is getting longer again. it is shoulder-length, 2 inches below the shoulder. a haircut here cost P50 because the owner of the parlor is a good friend of us siblings. even when we let our hair dyed, he just picks a hundred peso bill from my purse, and say,"this is enough!"

Sorry my dear. I think I deleted your response to my comment. I am on tablet and my comment back went in the tag again.
If you look at the picture on shades of pink that is how long my hair is now.

After a year and a month! I have my hair trimmed almost every 3 months. It grows too fast and long hair does not become me. I can get a hair cut for free. My sister does it for me. But sometimes I go the parlor at the cost of P40 to 150 depending on what parlor I go to.

@salonga haha yes. But most of the time I am not satisfied with their service. So I still prefer my mother to do it if she has enough time.

Wow! Every 3 months? That is quite fast.
My mother also used to cut or trim my hair. But she is too busy niw that when I ask her to do it for me, she always says that she's tired and all those alibis. Lol! So I have to go to the parlor now.
Happy new year!

I just trimmed my hair earlier this month. It cost $10 and that comes with shampooing also! Normally $16, as I had a coupon. I had a few inches cut off and plan on going again in 3 months for a trim.

@brokenbee $10 would be considered cheap here.. Most people I know get their hair cuts $20-$50, sometimes even more when they have dye treatment or professionally straighten, etc. I just like my hair standard, some layers and short to my shoulders simple also!

Hmmmm I don't know if some parlors also charge that way. What I had seen here is they have flat rates even if it's just a trim or a complicated haircut.

Yes, it is really cheap here. There are other salons which are even cheaper than that, but they have more customers so we decided to have our hair done there.

Hmmmm And that is already considered expensive here. But there are also other salons here in my country that charges more but I don't avail their services there.

That is a bit expensove especially for men. And I think men need to have their hair trimmed or cut often.
