My question is funny, maybe. But, I am really want to know what kind of food or or drink you will get with $ 1 in your hand? In my country, $ 1 can for buying two tins of soft drink with volume 400 ml for each tin. It also can for buying a cup of rice and a piece of fried chicken. It also can for buying a piece of simple hotdog, or buying a plate of rice with some vegetable and a piece of fried chicken and a glass of sweet tea. I hope you want to share for me...Thank you...

@srisahara $1 isn't much here. You could get a chocolate bar and you could buy a can of branded drink from some places for the equivalent of $1 dollar but you can't get much here for that...the UK is quite an expensive place to live.

You would get very little in Australia for $1. You might get a small bottle of water if you were lucky and that's about all.

I think it is a good news, where by $1 we can get some food or drink. It means the prices of food and drink in US does not different significantly with in my country. But, I wonder, if food and drink relative cheap in US, why the minimum wage in US very big. A friend in this community said that minimum wages in US is $10.30 up to $12.50 per hour, it means an employee get about $2000 up to $2500 in a month. What do you think about this? See my discussion below about the minimum wages:
In my country, the minimum wages for an employee about $ 250 in a month. By the wages, a person or a family is difficult to get a standard of welfare of live....

Woow..it is a good news, where we can eat something or drink something with $ 1 in Canada. In my country, romane noodles about $ 0.4, a small canned macarel about $ 0.7, a piece of bread with chocolate about $ 0.35. I think, in Canada $ 1 still has a meaning. Thank you so much on your response...
