Uncover the pool!

My husband cringes when I say that, but he knows I'm just kidding. What I'm not kidding about is it will be 74 today and tomorrow - the weatherman said it could even go higher than that. But by Friday it will only be 50 - wow. OK, come one, let's get these temps leveled out.
What the warm air has brought out are the Asian Beetles...people call them Lady Bugs but they are not your 'normal' black/red bugs...these are shades of brown/beige and they swarm on warm winter days. They look for ways to get into your house so they can winter over in comfort.
We have been lucky with this house, it's brick....they are attracted to light colors. We lived in a house with light grey siding a few years ago and that house attracted them like crazy.
They are more annoying than anything else. This house is so tight sometimes I can't even get in, so I know they can't. I saw a lot of them outside yesterday flying around enjoying the warm air.
I will enjoy the weather and ignore the bugs!
Photo is mine.

I was just saying this to my husband yesterday. Hate when the lady bugs come out. They are those orange ones, not like the American red ones. The orange ones bite. When they get in my husband has to go on a hunt and kill them all. I don't mind bugs in general, but hate hate hate when they are in my house.

If you step on them they crunch! We have a super duper spray for them that we bought online so if they get bad my husband will destroy them

@fishtiger58 I lived in Hawaii for two years and we had more roaches than I could ever count, so lady bugs don't really bug me too much.

@AbbyGreenhill We have to go to Milan, so my Mom will not be alone for Christmas.

Since we aren't going anyplace if it snows a little it would be ok...like an inch.

@AbbyGreenhill Oh you heartless girl. Surely you will keep one as a pet and look after it.

The bugs can and will stay outside - and hopefully it will get cold and they will die.

It looks like you have quite a large swimming pool there! Keep those bugs outside and I hope they will soon go away!

We have been having the same unseasonable warm weather. I did hear the weatherman say that after some rain happens that is coming our way, that the temps will drop by this time next week.

Was it unusually hot that year? We had an Easter about 10 years ago where we had a frost in late April and all the flowering trees/shrubs froze. It was sad.

Mark your calendar for May, 2016! Since right now it doesn't even have much water in it!
