It really is a very small world

Without any sense of going looking for anybody, we just keep bumping into people in Essaouira. We shared a taxi with two guys we met at the airport and had dinner with one of them last night. We bumped into him at the fishing port this afternoon and bumped into the other as we were walking along the beach this afternoon.
Whilst chatting in the port, I spotted the Indian father and son that I'd been talking to at Luton airport in the coffee shop. As we stood there, they popped up. In fact the only person I've not yet run into is the slightly bonkers older lady who was sitting next to me on the plane. And I'm guessing that it's only a matter of time until she pops up too.
It's a small town but even so it's really funny how we're all falling over each other.

Seems as though it was meant to be. It is so interesting when you live is touched by strangers

since she was slightly bonkers I do hope she appears wearing a hilarious hat.

I'll probably hear her talking to herself before I see her.

@boiboing Sounds like the times we live in NYC in my mom's apartment building. Most of the apartments were occupied by Latvians and we were like one small community and there was always something going on.

Not really. The first was standing in the fishing port, the second walking along the beach.

I think once you run into a person once, it seems to happen again.

Indeed it did. The Indian father and son actually transferred to our hotel and my husband looked out of the window and said "Isn't that the guy you were talking to at the airport again?"
