Winter Wonderland

This should be a mood-lifter.
So for our Christmas party we thought of having "Christmas Wonderland" as our theme. Since we live in a tropical country, we need to set-up the party venue to make it look like winter.
What really upset me last week was that the party was moved from night to afternoon, so I really wanted to call off all the designs because I thought it would be impossible and useless. But after knowing that my team still wanted to push through with it, in the spirit of Christmas, I agreed to still carry out as planned.
Part of the program is a photo contest among the units -- the entry that will best interpret our theme will be declared the winner. My staff and I decided to submit an entry so last Friday we went to the Snow World, part of a theme park here in Manila. It was also my son's birthday so we also decided to have fun and paint the town..ahh err..white.
Since my son's birthday falls a few days before payday, I usually don't have money for a big birthday celebration. Since my staff and I paid for our own expenses at the park, I didn't have to shell out much to make the night action-packed and fun-filled.
So there, last Friday was my son's best birthday in years
