Have You Ever Visited the Alamo?

One of my favorite trips was a trip I took several years ago to visit my brother in San Antonio, Texas, when he was stationed at Fort Sam Houston.
My mother and I flew down to spend a week with him and his family. He took us several places while we were there. The Alamo was much smaller than I had imagined it to be.
We also spent a day on the River Walk, having lunch and enjoying the day. Here in Richmond there is also a Canal Walk. It's not as elaborate as the River Walk, but is very interesting to see. However, my favorite part of the day we took the Canal Walk was eating Greek pizza at one of the best restaurants in town.
In San Antonio, we also visited the Oriental Gardens and several other places. There we ate dinner at the "San Francisco" Steak House. The best steak I have ever eaten. Sounds crazy to eat at a San Francisco Steak House in San Antonio. I wonder if it's still there?
Have you ever been to San Antonio and the Alamo?

I'm sure that it has had lots of repairs over the years. It's quite old and made of adobe, I guess. I'm glad someone was interested enough to see to it's preservation.

Yes, I was invited to stay with friends there when I came home off the road with the carnival one year. They took us there and to this restaurant- - I think it was Four Brothers. They rolled out this cart of steaks and you picked your own. The Alamo was good too. LOL
