In July last year we were travelling in a motor-home in Austria. Our camping site in Innsbruck had us up among the clouds and we saw some spectacular country as we headed towards Salzburg. At one place we came upon a lovely roadside shrine. We saw quite a lot of these in our travels.
When we reached Salzburg and found a caravan park we were next to an open area which hang-gliders used as a landing site. We watched many drift this way and that above us as they manoeuvred their way down to earth.

I wonder if your friend misses that type of country or is Toronto something similiar? Pardon my ignorance. :)

Our caravan park was almost in the clouds. It was quite different to most places we've been.

I hope you get the chance to view the slideshow. It is hard to explain the beauty of the place.

You could see them all coming in from one direction then manoeuvring round and round till they landed in the paddock. Occasionally two would be on the one 'umbrella' or whatever it's called.

I was waiting for her to appear but had to be content with blasting out a few bars of my own.
