Now, I Have More Respect in Louis Vuitton Product!

I attended a guided tour at of Louis Vuitton Series 3 Exhibition at Marina Bay Sands Singaporelast weekend. After all the explanation, I regretted why I never took an extra care of the wallet given to me by ex-boyfriend’s mom, Tita Rose. Whew!
Tita Rose gave me that gift, I think when I was still in college. I know that Louis Vuitton are expensive that is why I just put it inside my cabinet and uses for some special events. Then I forgot I have that wallet and when I saw it some of the stitches at the “coins part” were already loose. I asked my then boyfriend to go to one of the malls in Makati City for repair and we were shocked that they estimated it for around Php5,000.00. Astounded of the price, I just leave it there like that and never used it again.
Why I regretted that I never extra mile to take care of it? I have found out that they are all handmade and somewhat a “work of art” of its artists. That they spend days even weeks and months to perfectly present their handcraft to the world. I also met an “artist” who worked at the Louis Vuitton since she was 17 and now she is around at 30s.
Now, I understand more why the price of this brand is very expensive. Haha! I told my husband that I do not want any bags or wallets of Louis Vuitton, if he will give something from that brand, just give me a trunk

have a LV pouch bag and I use it only on special occasions like going to church. It is a handmade bag, like the other products on LV

I have one LV bag, a gift from my sister who got this also as a gift from a rich friend. I kept it and use only occasionally. The truth is I will never buy a bag as expensive as LV. I am not that moneyed and besides I think they are overpriced and already taking advantage of their popularity.

When I do not know the history behind and how those were made, I also thought it is very expensive for a bag. But after the guided tour. Gosh! I think it is worthy.
There's a mini purse that has only 9 of them in the whole world and you know what, one of it was purchased by a Filipino VIP :)

Really , they handcraft them ? What about those of same designs , do they handcraft that too ?
Maybe if i got lots and lots of money then why not buy a LV bag . However , being a practical person , i just buy those affordable yet stylish and durable ones .

I am as well as shocked as you. I thought all along that this is mass produced by machines. They use screws, stitch it using a sewing machine that is very slow.

I used to have a wheelie bag a suitcase and a carryon bag but sold them.
Theyre way overpriced in my opinion but do seem to hold their value a bit as i didn't lose much when i sold mine.

Yes, Louis Vuitton really does make a high quality product. I love the look of their purses and luggage.
