Time to make the donuts!

This is a saying I used to say to get my staff together to make bed check. I worked at night because the work load was easier for me. We had plenty to do but just less stress because all the residents were getting their beauty sleep. We checked on residents every two hours. During that time we turned, got residents the bed pan, and cared for incontinent residents. Around 6 AM I had to stop helping the CNAs and do my work of blood glucose levels, insulin and so forth. So even though we were dog tired from about 4 AM on we kept motivated. That saying, time to make the donuts was our cue for all of us to get busy with our work. I miss that life. I often dream I'm still working. This picture is colored by me.
