Decorations are up.... even the Dog joined in....

Yesterday I finished putting the decorations up, the tree and a few bits here and there, we don't go mad...., but it looks nice when we come in from outside, and at night when we turn the lights on while watching tv..., it gives a nice christmassy glow to the lounge.
see the photo on the side... I mentioned I had a fibre optic tree...I took a photo of it...but it has not turned out very well...but I included it anyway....
As I was un-packing the boxes with the decorations in... a certain little dog ...kept running in and snatching bits and running away with them....,
He's quite funny as he runs into the lounge, very pleased with himself...then drops it on the carpet...and runs back round to my room...for some more... on one occasion he grabbed some tinsel....so I wrapped it round his neck like a scarf and took his photo.... he looks quite good in it.... after a while, he fell asleep..., so I was able to carry on without interruptions...., and..he has not bothered with the decorations anymore.
I had visions of him standing on his hind legs and pulling things of the tree..., but fortunately, he has not bothered with them...
have you had any little hinderences while decorating...., dogs, cats and children like to play with things that glisten...

@sueznewz2 I am sure he does not like, I tried to "decorate" the cat of the neighbor but he did not appreciate.

A friends little boy was taking the Christmas ornaments off the tree as they were putting them on it.

yes....I think its the glitter and colours that attracts them....did he play with them or want to eat them.... lol's

thank you ... i'm glad you like them... fortunately even though he kept pinching the decorations while I was putting them up.... he has not bothered with them since....

Your dog must enjoy decorating. Or it smells good. We have such a small place we don't decorate too much. Gets too cluttered and we have cats who takes things and hides them.

All of the above but no longer. Old, retired, no kids at home and no pets but the ability to leave for the warmth of a beach at a whim, its priceless. Loved your photos.

I didn't decorate until December 24, and had all the decorations down again on the 27th. Long story.
