Happy Solstice!

Hubby got to work an hour and a half late but he got there. (Slippery gut wrenching roads.) Temps went up so off we headed to town.
The Birth of Jesus musical is on the radio so Mom is happy and humming.
We're staring out at rain. I plan to take Mom in at 3 so that she can get her eyeglasses adjusted. Then maybe we'll hit the Goodwill cause we'll stay in town waiting for hubby to get off work at 5.
Happy me: one way I'll be driving in gray light instead of black.

@sallypup Happy Solstice. We gave weather here in Latvia that resembles the coming of spring so there is not a real holiday feel here.

Ugh! I am so glad I don't have to drive any more. I quite driving last year. So glad. I remember the rain and then the black ice the next morning. No more.

Today we had a sunrise at about 10 am and it started getting dark at 3 pm. For 5 hours it was cloudy and rainy, so the whole day turned to be grey

@typicalrussian Oh that sounds gloomy. We're having sunshine- first sunny day in what feels like forever but still cold and icy.
